Joe Johnson is a Chicago based designer with an MFA from Northwestern University.  Joe has a background in Illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design before transferring to the University of Minnesota-Duluth to study the art of theatrical set design.

In addition to designing for the stage, Joe continues to create fantasy and fairy tale drawings and paintings through his own personal projects.  Joe is also a Plein Air enthusiast, and enjoys getting out in the field, drawing and painting from nature to both inspire and reflect.
